MEET THE TALENT
A seasoned filmmaker, Yousef has worked on large-scale feature films and TV series in both Egypt and Canada, with credits on projects produced by Netflix, MBC Universal, and Prime Video. His on-set experience, combined with deep storytelling instincts and strong narrative structuring skills, forms the creative backbone of HAWA. As the originator of the HAWA concept, his vision shapes the tone, style, and cinematic quality of every project we produce.
A former architect with a strong design sensibility, Laila leads HAWA’s visual direction and style consistency. Her architectural background, artistic taste, and sharp eye for layout and aesthetics make her a key force behind the studio’s visual identity and output quality.
Yasser leads HAWA’s technical operations, bringing years of VFX experience, a comprehensive understanding of the entire VFX pipeline, and a sharp visual instinct for quality control. His portfolio includes work on projects for Sony, Netflix, FX, CW, and Apple.
Alaa brings extensive expertise in governance, business incubation, strategic consulting, and organizational development. He plays a pivotal role in structuring HAWA’s business model, growth strategy, and investor-facing frameworks. Alaa acts as the Chairman and senior advisor across strategic decisions.
